Catherine van Paassen has been operating Hokitika Optometrist since 1981. An appointment for a full eye exam gives you 45 minutes with the optometrist to discuss and investigate all your concerns about eyesight and eye health.
See well and look good! At Hokitika Optometrist we have a wide range of frames and lenses, as well as access to the latest styles and technology for all products including contact lenses, prescription sunglasses, sports and safety eyewear.
The optometrist is located at 16 Park Street, Hokitika

INTRODUCING: Steve Stone English trained, Steve has been working alternate weeks with Catherine since 2015. Steve is currently completing his Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics, a postgraduate course of study that will allow him to prescribe medicines to treat common eye diseases, like conjunctivitis.
WHAT'S NEW: OCT imaging of your retinal nerve tissue is included with our Full Examination. Like Ultrasound but using light, OCT checks the macula and optic nerve in great detail, so we can detect and monitor changes or disturbances that affect your sight.And we photograph the retina too.
